The completely new developed and proprietary application is intended for the treatment of myopia and astigmatism. It can be purchased through a software upgrade and is an integrated part of the FEMTO LDV Z8 and the new FEMTO Z8 NEO.
As a pioneer in low energy femtosecond laser treatments, Ziemer’s low energy concept provides maximal precision, minimal tissue damage, minimal side effects, and less inflammatory response and is known to contribute to fast visual recovery.
Adaptable placement of incisions:
Thanks to the Ziemer handpiece there is a very short working distance to the eye. Therefore, a high focusing power can be achieved and only very little energy per pulse is needed. This allows for small overlapping spots resulting in a smooth cut.
