Data processing: 30-40% faster compared to vintage GALILEI
Computation and display of complete report with maps: 2x faster than vintage GALILEI
Time to take a full scan: 0.75 seconds (30% faster than vintage GALILEI)
Auto-processing: recorded data are automatically verified and processed, delivering results directly and more rapidly upon completion of data collection
- Improved TCP (Total Corneal Power) calculation, the results now conform to the ZEMAX standard
- New edge detection algorithms for more consistent map data, particularly from irregular corneal surfaces
- New algorithms for calculation of anterior chamber angle and anterior segment length furnish improved eye metrics (geometric data if anterior chamber)
- Improved CSV data export – for off-line data processing and statistics
- Auto-processing of recorded data to deliver rapid results directly, upon completion of the examination
As the GALILEI G2 contains a totally new computer system and a new table, converting a vintage GALILEI to a G2 involves a major exchange of system components. There is, however, an upgrade path for most vintage GALILEI systems. Please talk to your distributor or to Ziemer Customer Support to discussavailable solutions.
