FEMTO LDV Z8 and Z8 NEO Advanced Technical Training Course

The Course is for Service and Application specialists who have a minimum of 6 month’s experience working with the Ziemer Femto Z8. It is not a course for beginner. You will gain a deeper technical knowledge of the LDV Z8 system by learning how to analyze technical problems and exchange major system components.

We will train components exchange including all necessary calibrations and checks.

Ziemer highly recommends attending the Femto LDV Z8 Advanced Technical Training course and the LDV Advanced Applications Training course.

Prerequisites:

Femto LDV Z8 Service Technical Basic course

Minimum of 6 months experience in the field working with the Femto LDV Z8 system

Target group:

This course is designed for Service and Application Engineers who have been working with the Ziemer Femto LDV Z8 at least 6 months.

Participants must have an educational background in a technical field and general knowledge of ophthalmology.

The language of the training course is English.

Objectives of the Course

The following topics will be covered:

• Refresher training in performing a System Clearance Protocol and Preventive Maintenance Protocol
• System and software upgrades
• Troubleshooting and remote support
• Laser Cavity exchange including all relevant calibrations
• OCT Box exchange including all relevant calibrations
• Handpiece exchange including all relevant calibrations

Applications Training is not a part of this training course.
