Medical Science Liaison / Refractive surgery and Diagnostics (w/m) 80-100%


  • Serve as scientific peer-to-peer resource to external ophthalmology experts and internal stakeholders
  • Manage relevant scientific literature, up-to-date medical information, ophthalmology expertise and product information
  • Collaborate with physicians on medical affairs initiatives 
  • Develop and maintain peer-to-peer collaborations and relationships with key medical experts in the ophthalmology community
  • Support medical information, literature surveillance, congress surveillance and related activities
  • Train internal and external stakeholders on key scientific and medical topics in relevant applications
  • Participate in the publication strategy and podium power through peer-to-peer communications on the product portfolio
  • Support the development of new data through exploratory and confirmatory investigator initiated studies


  • Optometrist with minimum 4 years practical experience or MD in ophthalmology
  • Refractive surgery planning, cornea imaging and ocular diagnostics experience, maps interpretation
  • Good understanding of medical device or pharmaceutical business models and market dynamics
  • Team player; willing to work cross-functionally and understand the perspectives of individuals in other departments
  • Ability to travel approximately 30%- 50% (overnights)
  • Fluent English, Cambridge C1-C2
  • Proficiency on Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
