In this very varied, exciting and challenging position, you will be in direct contact with international customers. You will train our users on our high-tech medical lasers and accompany them during eye surgery procedures worldwide. You will check and calibrate all technical components to ensure a flawless and safe procedure. Become part of an international team and ensure a positive experience for patients and users with your work.

Tasks

  • Installation, commissioning and acceptance tests of high-tech medical lasers at our customers' premises
  • Training and instruction of users (eye surgeons and operating personnel)
  • Worldwide service and clinical application assignments
  • Collaboration in the creation of documentation and process descriptions
  • Carrying out training courses for dealers at the headquarters in Port
  • Assistance at international trade fairs

Profile

  • Completed studies BSc Microtechnology, Optometry, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or MSc Biomedical Engineering or similar.
  • Knowledge of femtosecond and excimer lasers and refractive corrections is an advantage
  • Ideally experience as a service engineer or application specialist
  • High willingness to travel worldwide (over 70 %)
  • Solution-oriented and independent way of working, organisational talent, enjoyment of intercultural cooperation and customer contact
  • Category B driving licence
  • Very good knowledge of English and German, any other language an advantage
