  • Spherical IOL power calculation using the widely used formulas of Barrett Universal II, Haigis, Holladay 1 and Holladay 2 [1], Hoffer Q, SRK/T, SRK II, and Olsen [2].

  • Toric IOL power calculation using the formulas of Barrett Universal II Toric with measured or predicted posterior curvature data, or via data export the Holladay 2 Toric [1], PANACEA Toric [3], and Olsen IOL power calculators.

  • Post-corneal refractive surgery IOL power calculation using the spherical and/or toric formulas of Shammas no-history and Barrett TrueK with or without history, or via data export the OKULIX [4] and PANACEA IOL power calculators.

  • IOL power calculation in keratoconus (KC) eyes using either the spherical formulas of Universal II and SRK/T[1], or via data export the PANACEA (which considers the P/A ratio and the Q-value) and the OKULIX IOL power calculators.

  • For the planning of, or the following up on, premium cataract surgery, GALILEI data can also be exported to the i-ASSORT [5] astigmatism analysis software or the ZEISS VERACITY Surgery Planner [6] for great patient outcomes.

Many formulas are pre-installed on the GALILEI, while third-party software can be automatically populated using the GALILEI data export function.

To provide confidence in refractive precision and assist the surgeon in achieving excellent results in premium IOL cataract surgery, the GALILEI additionally offers a comprehensive set of maps and indices, such as Zernike coefficients for higher order aberration analysis, kappa distance or distance alpha for centration, or posterior corneal power for advanced astigmatism analysis, with all data captured in a single measurement.
