Full-femto and low-energy throughout. Intraoperative OCT images the capsule before the cut, so diameter and centration are planned per case and delivered as planned: a perfectly circular opening with a smooth, continuous edge. The IOL is untouched, so its integrity and position are preserved.
The FEMTO Z8 NEO takes an OCT image of the posterior capsule and performs a perfectly circular posterior capsulotomy. The resulting capsule disc begins to curl immediately after the cut. Within minutes, it rolls up and clears the visual axis on its own.
