The Low Energy Concept of our FEMTO lasers minimizes the energy required for each laser pulse by maintaining a short working distance from the optics to the eye, resulting in a tiny focus size. This innovation utilizes very low pulse energy in the nanojoule range, ensuring extremely high precision during laser procedures.

The FEMTO Z8 NEO model offers a faster intraoperative OCT (Optical Coherence Tomography) scan. Enhanced eye structure detection (iris, lens, cornea) yields a faster OCT scan and in general a quicker processing time. The workflow is more efficient, the user saves time and the patient experience is improved.
The SLIM handpiece and SLIM patient interface provide easier docking in all situations. The FEMTO Z8 NEO is also the perfect partner for pediatric cataract surgery and patients with limited orbital access.
The FEMTO Z8 NEO ensures the highest degree of safety and comfort for both the surgeon and the patient. The laser can be used in a sterile operation room and fits perfectly under a surgical microscope. After the laser intervention, the laser is moved away granting the best possible access to the surgical site. No patient transfer or movement is needed during surgery.
