Professional Profile

IT Specialists in the field of Platform Development plan, install, operate and monitor modern IT infrastructures. They ensure that servers, networks, cloud services, applications and end devices function reliably and securely.

In their daily work, they set up computers, servers and networks, configure these systems and manage user accounts and access permissions. They monitor IT systems, analyze faults and resolve technical issues. They also support employees with questions relating to hardware and software.

Platform Developers play a key role in introducing new technologies, automating recurring processes and documenting systems and procedures. They pay particular attention to information security, data protection, performance and availability. They work closely with internal departments, other IT specialists and various external partners.

Training at Ziemer

In our internationally oriented medical technology company, you will work together with the ICT team to ensure that our IT infrastructure operates reliably, securely and efficiently.

You will set up workstations and mobile devices, maintain servers, networks and modern cloud solutions, and support employees with technical questions. During your training, you will become familiar with various operating systems, applications and infrastructure technologies.

As part of the team, you will contribute to exciting IT projects, share your own ideas and learn how to plan, operate and further develop modern platforms and systems to create a future-proof working environment.

Vocational School Attendance

• 1st and 2nd year of training: 2 days per week
• 3rd and 4th year of training: 1 day per week

Students with very good academic performance have the opportunity to attend a vocational baccalaureate school.
