As an ICT Junior System Engineer, you will be part of our infrastructure team and actively contribute to the stable, secure, and efficient operation of our server, network, and cloud systems. A key focus of your work will be the maintenance and continuous improvement of the continuous deployment processes for our internally developed applications. In addition, you will serve as the operational interface with our suppliers and manufacturers, ensuring smooth support of our IT infrastructure. With your dedication and expertise, you will play an active role in optimizing and further developing our internal IT services.

Tasks

  • Planning, implementation, and operation of our ICT services
  • Further development of our continuous deployment processes (Git/GitLab)
  • Implementation of changes, analysis of incidents, and execution of technical measures
  • Operation and optimization of our virtualization and storage environments (VMware/NetApp)
  • Administration and further development of Microsoft 365/Entra
  • Enhancement of security, backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity concepts
  • Documentation of technical processes and workflows
  • Support in 2nd- and 3rd-level IT support

Profile

  • ICT specialist (EFZ) in system technology/platform development or Bachelor of Science in Computer Science
  • Ideally 1–3 years of professional experience
  • Experience in production IT environments; knowledge of the medical technology sector is an advantage
  • Specific expertise in administration and management of Windows servers and domains, Linux, Microsoft 365/Entra, virtualization & storage, as well as network architecture
  • Analytical and structured way of working
  • Team-oriented and service-minded approach
  • Strong quality and security awareness
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and German
