The Fast Refractive Screening Display provides an overview of the cornea to start the analysis of the eye for refractive surgery planning. Due to the color-coded maps, any suspicious pattern within the cornea can easily be identified. The steep and flat axes are marked with a cross for fast identification. Besides the four maps, the most relevant numeric values are visible at all times. Even the presence of asymmetries can already be assessed and further analyzed with a specialized display.

The display includes anterior and posterior axial curvature maps, as axial curvature smoothens small corneal irregularities similar to what the visual system does. This allows simulation of visual experience and may improve surgery planning and refractive outcome.

Measuring high-order aberrations helps identify the most suitable IOL for cataract patients and allows custom treatments for refractive patients. Results can be displayed as a value or on a map. Each higher order aberration can be displayed or hidden.

The RMS value can be used as a good overall indicator for the vision of a patient because it summarizes all aberrations of the cornea. Higher values indicate a bad overall vision that cannot be fully corrected with lenses or glasses anymore.

The alignment is adjustable giving the possibility of decentralized treatment planning. The adjustable region of interest allows the comparison between day and night vision and different treatment zones to achieve the best result.

The Santhiago PTA Report^TM is a simulation tool to predict the probability of creating an ectasia after LASIK or PRK surgery in eyes with normal preoperative topography. By taking into account preoperative corneal thickness, ablation depth, and flap thickness, the PTA index shows whether or not your patient is a suitable candidate for LASIK or PRK.

The PTA+ index adds additional safety by taking into account the relative contribution of flap thickness and ablation depth in specific borderline cases.

A good and comprehensive tool that can be used for patient education and decision-making.

Whenever a map seems to be strange it might indicate a bad measurement. To be sure that the measurement is of good quality, the Images Display should be consulted. Every image obtained by the system can be checked individually for centration, fixation of the eye, shadows or tear film quality. The TopView image in vibrant colors and with high contrast improves the visualization of details such as blood vessels, iris pattern and pupil.

All the relevant data is within the same display. For customers with a normal eye and no need for a premium IOL, this display is all you need for cataract screening. As a mean of customization, both maps can be exchanged according to the doctor's preference. For abnormal cases and premium IOL candidates, you can switch to the Advanced IOL Display for further assessments.

The Fast Cataract Screening display provides a visualization of the biometry scans. Each peak in the scan describes a transition in material allowing the system to automatically detect the cornea, lens, and retina giving all the intraocular distances needed.

The GALILEI G6 ColorZ offers a range of state-of-the-art IOL calculation formulas to meet the needs of all patients and support appropriate IOL selection, whether for short or long eyes, phakic, aphakic or pseudophakic eyes, eyes with a corneal history or when planning standard or premium IOLs. Many formulas are pre-installed on the GALILEI, while third-party software can be automatically populated using the GALILEI data export function.

To provide confidence in refractive precision and assist the surgeon in achieving excellent results in premium IOL cataract surgery, the GALILEI additionally offers a comprehensive set of maps and indices, such as Zernike coefficients for higher order aberration analysis, kappa distance or distance alpha for centration, or posterior corneal power for advanced astigmatism analysis, with all data captured in a single measurement.

The Advanced IOL Display allows the individual selection of maps and index sections for a user-friendly and personalized report, thus supporting the surgeon in the decision-making process for planning a spherical or premium IOL. By additionally aligning the measurement and consequently all maps and data to the patient's visual axis, the GALILEI ColorZ helps the surgeon achieve predictable refractive outcomes.

Quick visual screening for asymmetries with anterior and posterior elevation data that can easily be put in relation to corneal thickness. The Anterior Instantaneous Curvature map is used to accentuate smaller details, resulting in a more prominent visualization of asymmetries. This may help detect asymmetries even in early stages. As an additional help, the CLMIaa value quantifies the asymmetries.

The display shows in a simple and automated way if the cornea has a suspicious pattern for higher order aberrations. It may as well help to detect such higher order aberrations early, giving a wider range of possible treatments.

The CLMI.X asymmetry detection display was developed to extend the accuracy of the CLMIaa index. While the CLMIaa index only includes the anterior corneal surface, the CLMI.X asymmetry detection includes the anterior surface, posterior surface and the corneal thickness. This results in a more precise assessment of corneal asymmetries.

The Comparison Display allows comparing two measurements over time to check for differences over time. This can be used to compare a pre- with a post-op measurement to analyze the effect of a specific surgery. All this information is visible on the same screen in an easy-to-interpret difference map. The Comparison Report can be used with all the maps available for GALILEI ColorZ.

The Color Eye Metrics display can be used for different surgeries. Opacities can be located within the cornea. The color inversion or the false color representation can help to easier identify different layers in the cornea. With the manual measurement functionality, the diameter of a planned keratoplasty could be defined to be sure to extract all the diseased tissue.

Another useful area is ICL implantation, because, besides the White-to-White measurement, the chamber angle can be displayed in the Color Eye Metrics display.

The GALILEI ColorZ' great versatility allows the user to create either a custom display with 1 map or up to 5 customized displays with 4 maps. All the available maps on the GALILEI ColorZ can be used for custom displays.

The Map x1 display consists of one large map for an in-depth analysis. The map can be overlaid with the patient's eye.

The Map x4 display consists of four maps that are free of choice. Besides the maps, the indices on the right side can be personalized as well.
