Location: Trainings will be held in the Biel Training Center until May 2024. Starting in June 2024, trainings will be held at the Brügg Training Center.

The Course is for Service and Application specialists or Clinical Applications Specialists who are beginning to work with the Ziemer Femto LDV systems. Attendees will learn how to provide surgery support to a doctor using the LDV, as well as how to train doctors, nurses and operators.
Attendees will also receive basic knowledge about the fundamentals of Femtosecond Laser technology and about the function of the main components of the system.
Ziemer highly recommends that Service and Applications Engineers attend the LDV Basic Applications Training course and the LDV Basic Technical course.
Prerequisite:
No previous Ziemer experience or education is required for this course.
E-learning videos prior to course are recommended. Courses will be assigned through the Femto E-Learning Site. Contact for login credentials.
Target group
This course is designed for Distributor Service and Application Engineers with or without experience with the Ziemer Femto LDV Systems who want to learn about the Femto LDV Systems.
Participants must have an educational background in a technical field and general knowledge of ophthalmology.
The language of the training course is English.
Objectives of the Course:
Technical Training is not a part of this training course.
This course is for Authorized Distributor Engineers only. End users may attend the LDV Z8 User Applications course.
