A Look Back at Our Recent Refractive Training Session

From the 26th to the 29th of May, 2025, we welcomed doctors from around the world to the Refractive Training at our headquarters in Biel, Switzerland. This specialized training was designed for new surgeons looking to deepen their knowledge of refractive surgery. Over three days, participants attended lectures and had the opportunity to gain hands-on experience with the FEMTO LDV Z8 and GALILEI.As soon as the event began, everyone was focused on sharing knowledge and exploring highly technological modern possibilities in refractive surgery, creating a collaborative atmosphere between the speakers and attendants.

One of the main highlights was the opportunity to attend a live CLEAR surgery: we followed Dr. Serhii Kryvovyaz in real time through remote connection and observed every step of the procedure, including the patient leaving the OR and warming waving goodbye to us.
Following the theoretical lectures, participants had the chance to apply what they learned during hands-on Wetlabs sessions for LASIK, CLEAR, and cataract procedures, with the help of our experienced engineers guiding them through each session. This way, attendees walked away with high quality knowledge that will help them in their day-a-day work life.
